Usage

Click the Record button to begin recording. Click the Stop button to stop recording. Depending on the client version, you may also use the F12 key.

Output

Depending on the client version, and possibly settings, the output can be one of the following, based on several YouTube videos:

  • 854 × 480 at 15 FPS with no sound in Advanced Systems Format (WMV).
  • 854 × 480 at 13 FPS with no sound in Advanced Systems Format (WMV).
  • 854 × 480 at 8 FPS with no sound in Advanced Systems Format (WMV).
  • 854 × 480 at 16 FPS with no sound in Advanced Systems Format (WMV).
  • 854 × 480 at 6 FPS with no sound in Advanced Systems Format (WMV).
  • 854 × 480 at 15 FPS in Advanced Systems Format (WMV).
  • 854 × 480 at 13 FPS in Advanced Systems Format (WMV).
  • 854 × 480 at 12 FPS in Advanced Systems Format (WMV).
  • 854 × 480 at 18 FPS in Advanced Systems Format (WMV).

The first production release with sound in recording was 0.38.0.169 (April 21, 2011).

The output files are in Videos\Roblox.

Video quality setting

The effects of the video quality setting have not been documented.
