@Edit summary

I know, but the chances of some guy coming and searching "Ticket" and wanting the property are slim, whereas the chance of them wanting to know about the currency is much, much higher. A disambig page would be much more appropriate. It's one of the reasons people are persistant in thinking the wiki is not very good- They come on here and end up on something like a method page when they have no idea how to script.

Last I heard, the class ref templates make use of these redirects, so not redirecting this page would break something. --Anaminus 17:58, 10 April 2012 (EDT)
I'm guessing it was implemented before the (Property)/(Method)/(Object) system, then? Oh well

The object system tries to use the most specific name whenever possible. In the past, it used redirects, but I made sure it wouldn't use redirects anymore. However, the wiki's articles are filled with links to members and objects and we need to be able to rely on them pointing to the documentation. The chance of an user wanting to find another article doesn't really matter, since the member page contains a link to the other page the user might have been searching for. If there are many of these, we just create a page and add " (disambig)" at the end. Basically, we're doing exactly what Wikipedia is doing. --JulienDethurens 18:03, 10 April 2012 (EDT)
