Signature
Could you add a timestamp to your signature? The two ways to do this are either to sign off with four tildes, or include {{<includeonly>subst:</includeonly>timestamp<noinclude>|=</noinclude>}}
in your signature template.
- Yeah, I'll need to make a user page, currently I'm just using code I put in the input box.Trappingnoobs (Writer) Have I done something bad? Good? Tell me on my talk page!

- Seems to work fine. Optionally, you could set it up like mine, so that you can update the style in future. Not necessary though, and more vulnerable to vandalism.

The tabs above
Although the concept is fine, it doesn't apply well to a talk page. Firstly, the + at the top adds a new section by default. More importantly though, the tabs have a bug / feature in them that means that you can't have headings inside the tabs, and therefore you lose the edit links. That makes it tricky to reply to responses.
- Aww it removes the titles? D:Trappingnoobs (Writer) Have I done something bad? Good? Tell me on my talk page 19:38, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
- I'm afraid so. You could still add some level 1 headings to split up the comments into four categories.
- Nah, it's fine. I just used those because it saved space, but I don't mind losing them.Trappingnoobs (Writer) Have I done something bad? Good? Tell me on my talk page 19:49, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
- Any idea why the link in my signature isn't working though? It's valid syntax but it doesn't even highlight red or blue when I hover it. :LTrappingnoobs (Writer) Have I done something bad? Good? Tell me on my talk page 19:50, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
- Because this IS the talk page! Wiki syntax doesn't link links that link to their containing page
- Ah, thanks :)Trappingnoobs (Writer) Have I done something bad? Good? Tell me on my talk page 20:12, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

"It's displaying preformatted where there's no pre tags"
That's a feature. Text indented by one space is parsed as code, and displayed within a pre tag automatically.
print("Like this")
See?
- Oh, thanks. I realy need to look this stuff up.Trappingnoobs (Writer) Have I done something bad? Good? Tell me on my talk page 20:34, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, it's easiest to learn by example. Next time you see some new wiki formatting, try viewing the source to see how it's done.
Enum Syntax
Just wanted to thank you for starting the conversion between the old tables method, and my enum template solution. I created the new syntax, put it out there, and started converting, but no one seemed to be using it. Glad to see it being put into action :D Camoy • Contribs (July 20 2011)
