The gallery is a site feature that was introduced on January 26, 2012, and officially implemented on April 10, 2012. Basically, it allows you to upload images and videos to certain items, which are then shown to the item's viewers. This can be very effective to showcase your place or other item. Sound can be added to videos for further depth.
Uploading images and videos
Images can be uploaded directly, while videos must be uploaded using your own YouTube account. Images cost 
20 to upload, while videos cost 1,000.
