Requested Edits

  • In the "Welcome to the Wiki!" box, you can see that the "Character", "Place" and "Script" links are capitalized. They shouldn't be, as they are a part of the sentence. I believe that should be changed.

  • Give a new building tutorial to explain the abilities of what the users of Roblox can create. Users should be compatible to knowing the basic structures of advance built models and objects. - User:DAbest
  • Rename
    • Tutorials page to "Building and Scripting Help"  
    • "Frequently Asked Questions" section on main page to "Help Center"  
    • "General" box to "Basics" on main page  
  • Remove "Bug Reporting" from Navigation on main page  
  • Remove FAQ section from Navigation on main page. This will be covered by the Help Center links and searching.  
  • Move Community Guidelines to the top of Navigation.  
  • There should be an article that has something to do with the title "Help! My Robux and tickets have gone!", instead of linking to the "How to get Robux/tix/badges" page, which doesn't really help resolve problems. I think either you should create a page, link to a relevant one, or just take the link out altogether

The Version Glitch Strikes Once Again

Even when not cached, the page looks like one of it's former versions. The version that I happened to see was only two lines of text, partly legible.

Community Guidelines and Roblox HQ links not currently working

When they changed the Builderman pages, they got rid of the old linking methods.

I forgot we could link directly to the pages on the external help site. Guess I'm still thinking with the Offsite Links rule.
I'll find and fix the other links to them on the site.

You do know we can still link to the Builderman pages, right? Here is an example, that links to roblox.com: Community Guidelines

Should we archive old pages and replace them with more effective ones?

I noticed in a guide to make a transparent shirt that it contained a spelling error, should it be corrected or replaced?

Page errors

Has anyone looked at the main page on a widescreen computer? It's not looking neat. All of the links/sections are lined up one above the other, and there is a stack of image errors at the top of the page. ~ ⇒TomTomN00 @ 10:18, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Looks like your'e seeing an old version. There appears to be a problem with images. I can no longer upload them, and it appears the wiki can no longer resize some of them, like Image:DOOM_confused.png.

The only issue I see is with the images. I e-mailed Doom about that earlier this week. He had worked out a fix to this problem in August, but it seems to be back. He was going to get a dev to look into it, so I'm not sure if somebody has yet. I haven't seen him online in the past few days, however when he is I am sure he will be able to look into this further. Some Things to Change

The "Multiplayer" link has its first letter capitalized; it shouldn't. Same for the "Character", "Place" and "Script" links.

STOP CAPITALIZING THE FIRST LETTER OF LINKS IF THEY ARE IN A SENTENCE. Just because they're links doesn't mean they don't have to respect capitalization, seriously. >_>

Also, STOP USING THE ZENDESK LINKS! There is a way to do it that brings to a roblox.com page.

Yes, but adults sometimes use that excuse even when it is wrong that you need to be older to understand.
I do agree with that. The phrase was probably derived from decades or centuries ago when it was, in fact, used as an explanation not an excuse. The "General Help" link

The logo shouldn't link anywhere. Right now, it just acts like a refresh button, which is completely stupid. Instead, it should just do nothing when clicked. Just use [[Image:RobloxWikiHeader.png|center|500px|link=]] to show the header, and leave the link argument empty, and it won't link anywhere.

Why use an external link to the list of the editors/writers when you can use an internal link?
