Talk:Operator

I don't like the table format for this. A section of each group of operators would be more appropriate. That also allows for basic and advanced descriptions ('and' and 'or' being a good example of why you'd want that). --GoldenUrg 03:11, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

I would make a better table, but making wikitables isn't my strong suit. --Blocco|Userpage-Talkpage 20:25, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Does it even make sense to put all the operators on one page? (I guess I'll try and if it gets too long we can consider breaking it up) --GoldenUrg 02:53, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Well, creating one page with all operators would save the user from having to manually typing all the operators out in the search field if they wanted to take a brief look at all the operators. Especially if they didn't know what all the operators were. --Camoy
Yeah we can use that new <div> tool that doom got working to make different tabs for each separate operator. ie User:Mr Doom Bringer/Object Page 2--Gordonrox24 | Talk 23:17, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Page is awesome, but.

This is a pretty well written page however it's a wall of text. Not meant to offend, just a statement of what it looks like. I'd suggest you make use of the Template:Example and others. Take some inspiration from the Function Dump.

Umm...

I have to admit, this page looks horrible. I might try to fix it tonight. --Mattchewy (talk) 22:19, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

In the conditional section, I see incorrect explanations. I will do something about this unless you have an explanation as to why you wrote it this way. I'm talkin' 'bout "cond and a or b" "if cond is true 'and' returns a" and such... Which is actually not the way it works. =P Oysi93 (talkcontribs) 21:21, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Well, since no one fixed this, I fixed it. I took content I previously wrote on my own Lua Wiki and put it here. Link can be found in the edit summary. CamoyContribs (November 27 2010)

Combine this page with these

I think this page should be combined with the following.

What do you think? - Quenty (talk • January 4)

Those pages are terrible and very different in style to each other. I suggest merging the three into one "Logical Tutorial" (think of a better name!)

"= Operator" is a logical operator

I don't think so. Quenty
Use a signature by putting ~~~~ after your post. Additionally, according to the Lua website, the assignment operator is NOT a logical operator. Legend26 (talk | contribs) 18:10, 4 January 2012 (EST)
