Class Trees

Thanks for documenting all the object data in a usable form. I may have to parse that with PHP to make an object documentation website. If only I knew how to turn it into a mediawiki plugin...

Not a problem. I'm currently attempting to write a bot that will hopefully make repetitive tasks more automated. A great excuse to learn how http works. --Anaminus 17:55, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Are you planning on writing some kind of code to edit and create pages on the wiki? And are you suggesting that it's not worth my time to make a PHP object documentation website?

Do what you want, of course. I'm testing the bot on a different site right now, but I'm thinking of keeping it there. This wiki doesn't have necessary extensions, 0 dedicated users with administrative rights, and is kind of a mess in general. I'm finding it very difficult to want to edit. --Anaminus 19:37, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, the inability for anyone to perform administrative actions is getting on my nerves. I'll put the PHP project on my todo list. Heck, I can probably turn your text into XML compatible with my previous attempt at this project. Whether or not XML is the right solution...

RE: Don't; wait for geshi

Why? Why don't we just color the examples now and do others ones your way if/when this "geshi" comes out?--ArceusInator (talk | contribs) 20:30, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

What is the advantage of coloring them manually over doing it automatically with an extension? So they can look pretty now? They can look pretty later, when there's an extension for it. --Anaminus 20:58, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
Procrastinate, much? Changing the color now won't hurt anything.--ArceusInator (talk | contribs) 21:29, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
"Procrastination" doesn't appear to be an advantage. Try again. --Anaminus 21:38, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
If procrastination isn't an advantage, then you must be losing, because waiting for method 2 to be released when we can use method 1 now and get the same effect is procrastination.--ArceusInator (talk | contribs) 22:02, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
Procrastination has nothing to do with it. It's not a requirement that code needs highlighting. It has low priority. Time doesn't need to be wasted manually coloring text. If/when syntax highlighting becomes available, more time doesn't need to be wasted undoing it. Code on source pages doesn't need to be obfuscated and difficult to edit. --Anaminus 22:18, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

Studio pictures

Did you use software to take the studio pictures? They look too perfect to be manually taken and cropped, and I can't see a mousecursor highlighting them, and I can't see somone highlighting each thing one by one, pasting it onto something like PDN, cropping, spending at least 10-20 seconds hiding the mouse, and then naming perfectly.

Discarded Pages

Why don't you make their category pending removal?

Navbox

Mind if I split it into smaller groups and put your Navbox onto every object page? I'm willing to do it to every object page.

Don't touch it, for now. --Anaminus 23:10, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

Approval

I have several pages awaiting approval. Please do so. :D - Quenty (talk • September 28)

Userpages

Hey Anaminus. The only reason userpages are being deleted is because they were tagged for deletion in bulk. So the options are either un-tag them, or delete them. Both are time consuming, I'm already working on cleaning out the pending removal category, and as they are all ancient as far as the wiki is concerned there isn't really any harm in just removing them (aside from the flood of recent changes, which would have happened anyway). So no, there really isn't a need to tag userpages for deletion in the future. I'm almost done, so hopefully the deleting hasn't interfered with your work to badly. Thanks!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 20:29, 25 April 2012 (EDT)

The problem was caused by the {{delete}} template being unintentionally transcluded. I've addressed it on the template's page. --Anaminus 20:35, 25 April 2012 (EDT)
Perfect, thanks.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 20:54, 25 April 2012 (EDT)
