Axis

An axis is a perpendicular line, generated by a base vector.

In Roblox, there are 3 Axis,

• The X axis, forward and back.
• The Y axis, up and down.
• The Z axis, right and left.

The four quadrants of a Cartesian coordinate system. The y axis is vertical, and the x axis is horizontal. Both extend infinitely in their respective dimensions.
