A special user shirt, also referred to as a "VIP" shirt, gives the wearer certain abilities in certain places. In order for the wearer to gain these abilities, he must be in the place the shirt was designed for (certain scripts are necessary to make special user shirts effective). The most common use for special user shirts is to allow those that purchase them access to certain areas (VIP rooms) within a place.
Making a special user shirt
First of all, you must be in Builder's Club in order to sell your shirts. If you are not, you can still create special user shirts and VIP shirt doors, but they will not be very effective if nobody else is able to buy the required shirt. - Create your special user shirt and upload it to Roblox (if you do not know how to upload, scroll to the bottom of this article).
- Visit any place on Solo.
- While in Solo Mode, open Tools (top-left corner). In the Explorer tab on the right, open the Workspace (by clicking the + sign next to Workspace) and find your character.
- Open your character (by clicking the + sign next to your name), and find Shirt Graphic. Click on it, and in the Properties tab (bottom-right) there should be a Graphic value. Copy it.
- Open the VIP shirt door script (if you do not have this, see How do I make VIP doors?). Near the top of the script should be a texture value. Replace the value in quotes with the value you just copied from your Shirt Graphic. Make sure you keep it in quotes.
- You are now finished setting up your special user shirt. Be sure to test it before you sell the shirt though, you don't want angry buyers saying your shirt doesn't work!
